Connecting your LGL account to Donorbox is easy! Here are the steps to streamline your workflow with this powerful integration.
Create a Donorbox account for free, or sign up for a Pro or Premium plan to access even more features with lowered platform fees. The LGL integration is available for $50 a month.
If you already have a Donorbox account, you can click here to sign in!
Log in to your Little Green Light account. From your dashboard, click the “Settings” drop-down and select “Integration Settings.”
On the left of your screen, locate the “LGL API” link under “Advanced Integrations” and click it.
Here, you can generate your API access token and copy it to your clipboard.
Return to your Donorbox account. From the menu on the left side of your screen, select the “Integrations & Add-ons” dropdown and click “Little Green Light.” Here, you can activate this add-on.
Once activated, you’ll be prompted to enter the API access token you copied earlier. Paste that into the field and click “Activate.”
This native integration takes care of all required mappings for you, including Donorbox campaigns, donations, supporters, and recurring donations. However, if you have additional data points you’d like to use, you can use this screen to map them to any of the relevant fields on LGL.
Across from each optional Donorbox field, there are two dropdowns for LGL. Select the object – Gift or Constituent – from the first dropdown, then select a relevant field for that object from the second dropdown. That specific Donorbox attribute will now be shared with the LGL field that you have selected.
This integration automatically maps your existing Donorbox campaigns to the campaign and/or fund on LGL with the same name. You can also manually map your campaigns by clicking the edit button if you don’t want to use the default mappings.
Then simply select the campaign and fund from the dropdowns and click “Update.”
Any failed exports are logged on the same LGL integration page on your Donorbox account. They are also recorded in an email and sent as a daily digest to your Donorbox account admin.
