How to integrate Donorbox + HubSpot 

Integrating Donorbox with HubSpot is easy to do. Follow the steps below to start automatically flowing your important donor and gift data from Donorbox into your HubSpot account.

Step 1 

If you haven’t already, sign up for a free Donorbox account – no set-up or monthly fees required. You will also need to have an active HubSpot account.

Then, log in to your Donorbox account and access your dashboard.

Step 2

In your Donorbox dashboard, head to the left-hand navigation and click ‘Integrations & Add-Ons.’ In the expanded drop-down, click ‘HubSpot’.

Step 3

Click the ‘Activate Add-on’ button to begin the integration.

Step 4

You will be taken to the HubSpot login screen. Here, enter your HubSpot admin user’s credentials and HubSpot will authenticate you.

Step 5

Once you are authenticated, HubSpot may send a verification code to your email to further authenticate your account. If so, you will add the code and click ‘Log in.’

Step 6

Next, you will simply select the appropriate Donorbox account (you will likely only have one option) you wish to connect and click ‘Choose Account.’

Step 7

Finally, HubSpot will ask you to give your permission for the Donorbox app to access your HubSpot account. Here, you will need to click ‘Connect app’ to authorize and complete the integration. You will then be redirected back to the Donorbox dashboard.

Step 8 

Your integration is now officially complete and all new donations you receive will be synced to HubSpot in real-time. 

Within the HubSpot add-on page in your Donorbox dashboard, you will also find several optional data points you can use to:

  • Map extra data points to Deals or Contacts objects in HubSpot
  • Select the pipeline and the corresponding stage in that pipeline to link with a Deal
