To cancel your Zeffy subscription, start by logging in to your account. Using a computer, sign in and navigate to your Zeffy dashboard.
Next, click on your name in the top-left corner and select “Settings.”
Below “Organization,” you’ll see the option to “Delete the organization.” Go ahead and select it.
If you only have one organization listed, you’ll be deleting and canceling your Zeffy account completely. If you have numerous organization profiles listed in your Zeffy account, you’ll be canceling/deleting the Zeffy account for the organization you are logged in to.
You’ll now be prompted to confirm that you want to cancel your Zeffy subscription. Type “Delete” in the text box and then click the “Delete” button to proceed. Feel free to also provide feedback on why you are choosing to delete your account in this section.
That’s it! You’ve successfully deleted your Zeffy account in just a few simple steps.
There may be a few reasons why you may want to cancel your Zeffy subscription. For some nonprofits, the free features may not outweigh the benefits of an alternative to Zeffy.

Zeffy markets itself as a 100% free-to-use fundraising platform. To support their platform and keep it free for nonprofits, they ask donors for an optional tip of 15% for donations over $25 and 17% for donations under $25.
This means that if a donor gives $100, they’re asked to pay an additional optional tip of $15 – a significant increase if they weren’t expecting to give that additional amount.
Zeffy’s donation forms are easy to use and can be embedded on your nonprofit’s website. However, their donation forms have limited customization options. For example, you can only select one color for your donation form, and the call-to-action text cannot be personalized.
Zeffy donation forms also only offer three giving intervals: one-time, monthly, or annual donations.
This limits your donors’ giving options, along with how freely you can personalize forms to reflect your nonprofit’s unique brand – which helps build trust among your donor community.
Text-to-give is great to get your supporters to donate to your cause quickly. After all, most people have a smartphone in their pocket, making it incredibly easy to fundraise on the spot when running a donation drive or during events!

Zeffy users are presented with limited bank payout options. Currently, Zeffy only offers Monday or monthly bank payout options. Should the Monday fall on a bank holiday, this process is further delayed to the following Tuesday.
This can cause issues for your nonprofit since a faster payout process helps to keep the lights on and your mission moving.

Zeffy users have reported that the platform offers a limited variety of quick payment options for donors. While they do offer Apple Pay and Google Pay, they’re missing other popular payment methods such as PayPal and Venmo. Zeffy is currently working to improve this, but it may limit your donors when they want to give freely until this feature is optimized.
