How to Add a Donorbox Donate Button or Form to Your Shopify Site
Step 1: Locate your donation form or button code on Donorbox
In your list of campaigns, navigate to the campaign you want to link to your Shopify store.
If you haven’t set up a campaign and designed your donation form yet, find out how in this blog.
Once you’ve located your campaign, click the “Embed Code” button directly on the campaign box.
You’ll find yourself on the Share & Embed page.
Under your campaign title, choose whether you want to embed a full donation form, a popup donation form, or a donate button that links to a Donorbox-hosted donation page.
Donorbox also gives you the option to choose between embedding two form variations: our Classic Form and our OmniGive™ Donation Form. While both are innovative, we strongly recommend you choose the latter.
The OmniGive donation form unlocks a range of benefits for your organization and donors, including 22+ payment methods dynamically displayed based on your donor’s location and device. Learn more about the benefits of the OmniGive donation form in this blog post.
Step 2 – Copy your donate button or form code
Regardless of whether you choose to embed a full form, popup form, or button leading to a donation page, you’ll have full control over customization.
Copy the generated HTML code when you’re happy with how your form/page looks.
Step 3 – Paste the code on your Shopify store
Once you have your button code copied, you can return to your Shopify Store editor. Locate your pages and choose which page you’d like to add your button or form to.
From the page editor screen, click the icon on the right to access the page’s HTML. Here you can paste your button or form code!
Click “Save” and you’ll be able to see your button or form on your page.
