If you are using a Blogger powered site, you can embed the donation form or add a donate button using a donation platform called Donorbox. Donorbox is an easy-to-use donation software that allows you to accept donations by credit card, PayPal, and ACH bank transfer payment. In this article, we’ll show you how to embed a donation form on your site. You can place this form on any page of your blog or in the menu bar.
For a more subtle integration, you can add a donate button instead of the donation form.
Embedding the Donation Form as a Gadget
Step 1
Go to your Donorbox campaigns page. Click the form integrations icon </> for your fundraising campaign. Then, select the “Embed Form” option.
Step 2
Customize your embed options and copy the auto-generated code.
Step 3
Now, go to your Blogger site. On the left side of the screen, select “Layout” then “Add a Gadget.” Find “HTML/JavaScript” and click on the blue plus sign in the upper right-hand corner.
Step 4
Enter a description where it says “Title” if you’d like then copy the code where it says “Content.” Hit save and the pop-up will close.
Step 5
Now you can change the location of the form by dragging it to the section you’d like. You can put it in the sidebar, header, or by the search bar. Click on “Save Arrangement” to save your placement.
Step 6
Hit “View Blog” to see the result! Feel free to play around with the location of the donation form. Now you’re ready to collect donations directly from your Blogger site!
