Considering a switch from Bonterra’s Network for Good and wondering how Donorbox stacks up?

In this article, I’ll share five reasons why nonprofits make the switch from Network for Good to Donorbox. I’ll also share real-life reviews to help you make the most informed decision.

5 Reasons to Switch to Donorbox

1. More robust suite of fundraising features

Bonterra’s Network for Good – also called Guided Fundraising – provides useful online fundraising tools, like peer-to-peer fundraising and auction features.

However, Network for Good lacks crucial in-person fundraising software and crowdfunding functionality to amplify your fundraising.

Some users also note that the platform’s event ticketing feature has certain limitations, like not being able to check in guests via QR code.

…I wish that they had an option that would send ticket purchasers QR Codes that they could present to the check in table at the time of check in.” – Joshua M.

Donorbox gives you access to a world-class suite of features that empower you to raise more. From customizable donation forms to a robust event ticketing tool and in-person fundraising software, our features help you bring in more for your cause.

2. Exceptional customer support

Some users have expressed frustration over the quality of customer support since Bonterra acquired Network for Good.

I strongly warn any nonprofit considering Bonterra/NFG to carefully evaluate other platforms before making a decision. Our experience has been a sad lesson of lost trust, poor communication, and inadequate customer support.” – Diane

Donorbox provides unrivaled customer support, 24/7. Our world-class customer support team goes above and beyond to resolve all queries and potential concerns.

See what this nonprofit user has to say about our customer support:

The customer service from the initial exploratory conversations, to purchase, to support help during set up have all been fantastic. They’ve been prompt, clear and helpful in their responses.” – Ben F.

3. Trusted by thousands of nonprofits

More than 100,000 organizations in over 96 countries have raised a collective $3 billion and counting with Donorbox’s powerful fundraising features.

On the other hand, Network for Good has helped just over 8,000 nonprofits using its fundraising and donor management tools.

4. Transparent, flexible pricing

Network for Good does not publicly disclose its pricing structure. However, some users have alluded to it being too expensive for smaller nonprofits.

One of our biggest cons is the price tag. We are a small nonprofit and every penny spent needs to be for a good reason…” – Misty M.

…price too high, better platforms for price.” – Verified User

At Donorbox, we believe in transparent pricing. We offer flexible, readily available pricing plans built to grow with the unique needs of your nonprofit.

Let’s look at our three pricing plans in detail:

  • Standard Plan: No monthly fee, with a 2.95% platform fee for most features. Memberships, Events, and Peer-to-Peer (supporter pages) come with a 3.95% platform fee.
  • Pro Plan: $150 per month, with a reduced platform fee of 1.75% for everything included in the Standard Plan, and a 2% fee for Memberships, Events, and Peer-to-Peer (supporter pages). Plus, gain access to additional donation form customization, Zapier integrations, personalized receipt branding, tracking and analytics, and more.
  • Premium Plan: Customize your plan to align with your unique fundraising goals. Get all the benefits of our Pro Plan, with additional perks like your choice of an Account Manager, a dedicated Fundraising Coach, and more.

Pricing excludes standard payment processing fees (Stripe and/or PayPal). However, you can always ask donors to cover these fees so more of their donations go toward your mission.
