How to Embed the Donorbox Donation Form or Donate Button on Rocketspark
Step 1
On the Donorbox dashboard, head to the “Campaigns” section and choose the campaign you want to collect donations for on your Rocketspark website.
Side note: If you haven’t created a campaign or signed up with Donorbox yet, this blog will take you through the process.
Once you’ve found your campaign, click on the “Share & Embed” button as shown below.
Step 2
You’ll find yourself on the Share & Embed page.
From here, decide how you’d like to collect donations on your Rocketspark website. Choose between:
A standard embedded form that appears on your Rocketspark page.
A normal or sticky donate button linking to your Donorbox-hosted campaign page.
Navigate between your respective options here:
Unless you’re choosing to link to a hosted donation page, you’ll also see two form variations: our Classic Form and our OmniGive™ Donation Form. While both are innovative, we recommend you choose the OmniGive donation form for access to more powerful features.
Step 3
Copy the generated HTML code for your preferred form/button embed variation.
Step 4
Go to your Rocketspark dashboard and click on the burger menu in the top left corner.
Select the “Manage Pages” button. Then, click on the page you want to customize.
Step 5
Next, click on the “Add first stack” if it’s a new page you haven’t worked on before. Alternatively, skip to the next step.
Rocketspark has a bunch of different Stack options – from blank pages to prebuilt templates. Choose your ideal format.
Step 6
Now click on the “ADD BLOCK” button within your newly added stack.
Then, select “Code Block” and paste your Donorbox embedded form/button code in the box that pops up.
Click the “Save” button.
If you chose to embed a full form, here’s what it will look like:
If you chose to add a donate button that triggers a pop-up form, here’s how it will appear:
