The Instant Runoffs are the charity runners participating in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon on behalf of Democracy Works. Democracy Works is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that provides Americans with the guidance they need to vote in every election, every time.
Our tools, including TurboVote and the award-winning Elections API, reach millions of voters annually. Our data and technology are used by some of the largest platforms in the world, hundreds of civic organizations across the country, and election officials at every level. We also lead the Voting Information Project and the Civic Alliance to expand our impact through collaboration with election officials and the business community.
