When we launched this campaign during the first cohort of the Restorative Community Project, we did it with the assurance that our work held promise. From casual comments made during sessions like, "I wake up early on Saturday mornings because of Collective Climb!" to more vulnerable disclosures such as, "I don't know where I would be without Collective Climb," we knew that our work provided critical supports to our young people. Today, we want to share the final program findings from cohort 1 with you all. In them, you can see that we delivered on our goals of violence prevention and conflict resolution, post-secondary readiness, and youth-led community engagement. Most of this cohort continues to work with us as members of our youth advisory board, while all continue to stay connected to the rooted family we created.
Now, we are halfway through our second cohort of the Restorative Community Project, which means new energy and new needs, but we are receiving the same affirmations that pushed us to continue. We look forward to sharing those findings with you all soon!
