👉 In the past few weeks, I've been contemplating deeply whether to share our story. Encouraged by friends and driven by a sense of urgency, I've decided it's time to reach out.
For those who dont know me, I’m a passionate entrepreneur from Ramallah. Since 2017, my heart and soul have been invested in uMake, an initiative that has become a cornerstone in nurturing Palestinian innovation.
We've empowered entrepreneurs through our coworking space, partnerships with Founder Institute Palestine, IGNITE Investment Readiness, Startup weekends, and numerous other ventures, culminating in over 300 events.
However, the landscape changed dramatically on October 7th. Like many in the entrepreneurial community across Gaza and the West Bank, we at uMake have been grappling with challenges that threaten our very foundation. But in the face of adversity, we stand resilient, refusing to yield to the status quo. The spirit of our community, the dedication of our teams, and the dreams of our founders – they all deserve a fighting chance.
This is why we are initiating a crowdfunding campaign. It's more than just a call for financial support; it's an appeal to safeguard the resilience and spirit of Palestinian entrepreneurs during these challenging times.
