The Collegian is an invaluable part of the Penn State student experience, and I wouldn't have a career without the lessons I learned there. I'm proud to support great student journalism.
I can't believe the University has eliminated funding for The Daily Collegian. Disgraceful! My fondest memories and possibly my greatest learning experiences came from my time at the Collegian. It instilled me a belief in the power of asking questions and getting answers from those in authority that serves me to this day, not to mention honing my writing skills. The joy of being part of the team that put the paper together five days a week is one of the reasons I stayed at PSU. If PSU is interested in learning or to use a 'buzzword' retention, they would continue the funding of The Daily Collegian.
I appreciate student journalism, long time Penn State Fan. Keep the stories coming!
