We are on the news!
On the 05/07/22, Latina Noticias Trujillo broadcasted live a 5 minute segment all about Surf Cerrito! The past week Brayan and the kids were accompanied by journalists and cameramen who visited our surf school in Cerrito de la Virgen and followed our surf classes. Latina Noticias is one of Peru's biggest news channel so it was super exciting to be featured and raise some more local awareness of the work we're doing.

We have a new member of the team!
Thanks to many of you donating to a cheeky birthday fundraiser, we have a new surf instructor joining us from this week onwards. Melany Grados is a badass surfer, mum and ISA qualified instructor who will be working with Brayan from now onwards, giving the classes and inspiring more girls to get in the water.

Team Surf Cerrito
Thanks to your EPIC generosity, we have finished the construction of Casa Surf Cerrito, the home of everything Surf Cerrito. Built by local builders from Cerrito de la Virgen, finished by a wonderfully crazy bunch of friends and family, it took 2 months and was an incredible process to be part of.
Extra special thanks goes to the Founder Family who's donations funded the entire construction of Casa Surf Cerrito. Without you guys, this wouldn't have been possible.
Also a massive thanks to all those who gave their time and energy to the build, creating amazing memories and lasting change in Cerrito de la Virgen.
