Rosy's Rescue First Fundraising Campaign

Rosy's Rescue needs donations to maintain the rescue on a very basic level, but also for high-cost testing that some of our rescues need for proper diagnosis and treatment, prior to adoption.

Currently, our Abbi's (7-year-old Black Lab/Hound mix pictured above) condition requires some expensive diagnostics and we're hoping you can help.

Abbi came to us from Tennessee where she was found extremely emaciated, sickened with a few strains of Lyme disease, branded on her side like cattle, with a BB gun pellet lodged in her body, and possibly in a state of congestive heart failure.  Even though she was severely suffering, she was also kind and gentle in nature, and appreciative of any attention or care bestowed upon her.  She immediately stole all of our hearts.

After enduring multiple sets of x-rays, an echo-cardiogram, and bloodwork, she was diagnosed with Chronic Pulmonary Disease, which is treatable! Initially, the prescribed medicine helped her, but recently she has begun to decline.

Her visit today with an IM specialist at Katonah/Bedford Vet Center revealed that her Pulmonary Hypertension is secondary to something else, and to properly diagnose her she needs to undergo some major testing.

We feel she has a lot of life and love left in her and are determined to give her the best chance to live that life.

Here at Rosy's Rescue, we are humbled to care for these beautiful animals, and we honor treating each of them with the love and respect they deserve.

This is our very first fundraising campaign, and we want you to know that all money raised will go directly to the emotional and physical well-being of these animals, as we ready them in health for the sole purpose of finding their forever family.
