Support STAR (Scholars on Target to Achieve Results)
STAR is an academic focused, cultural engagement program that seeks to close the opportunity gap for middle and high school Appleton Area School District students who identify as Black, African American and of mixed race with one of those racial identities. Team members meet with youth one-on-one to better understand the challenges they are facing that impede their ability to achieve success and actively work to eliminate barriers that prevent them from making progress toward their academic and non-academic goals.
