Greetings  Supporter,

Thank you for supporting the reelection of Diijon DaCosta Sr. to the DeKalb County Board of Education. Your contribution helps ensure continuity, stability, and student centered leadership for DeKalb County Schools.

Diijon DaCosta Sr. is a proud product of DeKalb County Schools and has served on the Board since 2018, including as Chair of the Board of Education and Chair of the Audit Committee. During his tenure, graduation rates reached the highest level in more than a decade, students earned record breaking college scholarship dollars, and the district maintained a healthy fund balance while remaining a zero debt school district. Educator step increases have been preserved every year since 2019.

DaCosta has consistently advocated for Pre K3 expansion, early literacy, elementary school athletics, and whole child development, while maintaining a visible presence in schools and communities. In 2024, the Board was recognized by the Georgia School Boards Association as a Quality Board, and in 2025 he was honored as Georgia School Board Member of the Year.

He proudly serves the Stephenson and Stone Mountain clusters in District 6, including Elizabeth Andrews High School, DeKalb Early College Academy, and the DeKalb Alternative School. Your support helps protect progress, sustain experienced leadership, and keep scholars first.

Together,
The Diijon DaCosta Sr. Campaign
