As a lifetime nerd, I'm so glad that this initiative is going to fuel the next generation of comic book and manga fans across the country. Every kid deserves to find themselves through literature and no one should be deprived of that opportunity due to financial and/or systemic circumstances. You guys are awesome! <3

Great thing you are doing. I used comic books to increase my daughter’s reading level and come to find out my mom did the same thing for my brother and I.

for as long as i can remember, stories have been my favorite thing in the world. i am always at my happiest when i can pick apart a story and share my interpretations with people. manga made me fall in love with reading again in a way i didn't think i could. thanks so much for doing this <3

What a super idea. Fun stuff is what kept me reading when I was a kid.
Stories helped me connect to others and gave me a sense of belonging when I felt like I didn't belong. I hope more kids can find that same support and escape even as book bans try to take it away from them.
