As of Wednesday, September 20th, all funds donated to the Kooyrigs General Fund will be allocated to our Emergency Reserve for Artsakh to benefit pending humanitarian efforts.
At this point, key information that is necessary to building an effective humanitarian aid plan has not yet been revealed. For example- we do not know when the Lachin corridor will open, where a majority of people will flee to, what contributions local and international governments will make in terms of humanitarian aid logistics, and so on. In addition, the lack of electricity in Artsakh is limiting us from reaching our 85 beneficiary families on ground.
Once we understand the needs of our beneficiaries, we will build and enact our Artsakh Emergency Response Plan through the use of Emergency Reserve funds. Thank you for understanding and entrusting us with this important initiative.
