Your donations to the Kooyrigs General Fund drive our organization- from operational costs like team member salary and office rent, to project expenses. The fund allows our team to develop and implement projects that serve Armenian women, children, and other marginalized groups in zones of conflict, war and attack, and ethnic cleansing.
In times of crisis, we utilize the Kooyrigs Fund to activate emergency response programs and immediate aid initiatives to meet the needs of 400+ beneficiaries living in border regions and zones of attack. This includes the purchase of aid (food, clothing, medication), the funding of humanitarian logistics (transportation, housing) and medical care, on-ground labor, and operational costs (truck rentals and drivers/office and storage space/etc).
Since we work from a needs-basis, when not conducting immediate aid efforts, we utilize the Kooyrigs Fund to support the various needs of beneficiaries at any given time. This support comes in various forms, from physical aid and medical care to community projects and events.
