Happy February!
We are pleased to announce that all donations to Friends of Fort Greene Park are now tax deductible!
We filed a lawsuit in Sept 2023 to stop the Parks Department from cutting down mature, healthy trees, adding paving, and changing the landscape in Fort Greene Park. The city denied most of our allegations, and we responded in January. Now we wait for the judge to set a hearing date.
We ask your help to pay the attorney who is defending the trees and landscape of our beloved park! Our case is strong, but we can't do it without you - please spread the word!
