Does your dog belong on a can of Odell beer??
The 2022 contest is now closed! We are still accepting donation, however they will no longer count towards votes for a dog!
Fort Collins is known for its dogs. Thousands of cute, cuddly, pooches call this city home. However, the age-old question still remains... Who is the top dog in Fort Collins?! Who is the the leader of the pack? The best in show? We have teamed up with Odell Brewing to officially answer this question! And support a good cause while doing it ?
Want to prove your pup is the undisputed best in Fort Collins? Here's how to do it:
- See that box at the top of the page that says "I want to fundraise for this" - click that box!
- Enter your sign up information. Then check your email and click the link. Finish setting up your profile.
- Start fundraising! Every dollar you fundraise on your page will count as one vote for your dog. The top 15 fundraisers will get to move on to the in-person (in-pup) event at Odell Brewery on September 25th, 2021. Post your specific page all over social media, email, or around town! Best of all, the funds are going to a great cause by building a wildlife rehabilitation center, right here in Fort Collins!
- Notice how we said top 15 above? We still need one last pooch to round out an even 16-pup bracket. One additional pup will move onto the in-person event through social media engagement! Create a post on Instagram where you will need to: tag @nocowildlifecenter, tag @odellbrewing, and hashtag #fortcollinstopdog. The post with the most engagement outside of the top 15 fundraisers will move on as well!
- Keep September 25th open on your calendar! This won't be an AKC dog show or a trick competition. The event will be designed to be fun and accessible by all pups! Events will include: strutting down the catwalk (*ahem* dogwalk!), cutest trick (not best trick, cutest), sniffing out the treat, and more!
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Northern Colorado Wildlife Center. This group is dedicated to opening up a fully fledged non-profit wildlife rehabilitation center to serve the Northern Colorado region, including Larimer county, Weld County, and beyond. Currently, no such facility exists in this region.
Please note! While you may create your profile early, donations will not count toward the contest until June 1st!! They will still go to our good cause, but they will not count toward your fundraising goal.
So sign up today and strut that mutt!

Note - you can donate directly to this page, and we will forever appreciate you for doing so, but it will not count as a vote toward a specific dog. You need to donate through their specific page for it to count (campaigns can be found below). All proceeds will still go to Northern Colorado Wildlife Center!
