Knox. A true ambassador for happiness, he elicits a smile wherever he goes. If we could 'charge' for the smiles or pets, we'd be millionaires. Maybe billionaires. We will never know how many lives he's impacted.
The Comeback Kid.
We were not going to enter the FoCo Top Dog competition this year because we've been busy with life. But Knox has had some major health challenges, especially just this past month. We don't know what will happen or how many chances he will still have to keep giving.
We decided it would be very un-Knox-like to not give it our all.
And we believe in the cause and raising funds for the Northern Colorado Wildlife Center. In honor of Knox and his extraordinary life, we thank you for your love and support.

About Knox:
Whether he's surfing in Hawaii, meeting the Blue Man Group in Las Vegas, Seadoo cruising in Oklahoma, rodeoing in Wyoming, relaxing in an Oregon vineyard under the shadow of Mount Hood, team roping in Arizona, touring Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin or playing under the Dallas skyline - Knox Winston Vreeland, a 10-year-old Golden Retriever, truly lives a "wild life" of travel and adventure - radiating pure happiness and a "carpe diem" attitude wherever he goes.
Flying by Mt. Rainier in Washington
While flying fur-st class, getting paw prints on his paws-port, and road tripping across the country is epic for anyone - especially this little Knoxstar - there is no place like home.
Watching the sunrise over Windsor, Colorado
Knox is one lucky dog and splits his time on a beautiful ranch in Windsor with breathtaking views of Longs Peak and his new home in Water Valley. There is nothing that brings out that Golden Retriever smile quite like a quiet evening at home trotting alongside his horse, River, while the Meadowlarks sing and the sun sets on colorful Colorado. And lately, walking along the beaches in Water Valley meeting new friends and seeing a new part of Northern Colorado.
Post-swim in the Poudre River
Home is where the heart is and home for Knox is right here in Northern Colorado. A furequent pooch about town, Knox makes furends wherever he goes. Here are a few of the his favorite things to do in NoCo (so far):
