Thank you for working on getting Black Rifle II back on the market. Already preordered one for my father and I to share. I’m sure he’ll be ecstatic. Sorry if I missed this in a previous Q&A, but what are we looking at for the future of aluminum mags with Okay dropping out of the industry later this year. I’m sure the tooling will get sold off, but could we rely on anyone to fill the gap?

What is the preferred method to determine whether or not the AR ejector spring (used as an ejector spring in the bolt) is up to spec or not? The TDP has the spring specs and the bolt and ejector specs. The MMC and LMC tolerance conditions are a combination of those parts in the assembly. I know what metrology can check for; I don't know how people can run the checks in the field for an accurate diagnosis.

I am a pretty good handgun shooter, and I noticed that there are some Glocks that have terrible accuracy. Instead of 1" groups at 10 yard, the pistols are shooting 8-14" groups at 10 yard. Glock blames the shooter for all problems, denying the facts. Maybe that denial works for people that cannot shoot accurately. How can I honestly determine that there is something wrong with the pistol, not the ammo or operator error? What scientific method should be used?

Is it ethical to use bootleg copies of TDP information, or should we pretend that the bootleg information does not exist? Once the information is released to the public, it is impossible to unring that bell.

I am soon ordering my first suppressor. I am thinking the Omega 36M because of the versatility in length and caliber. Any downsides I should think about going with a multi-caliber and multi-length suppressor?

Why are the police-only training classes and armorer classes so poor in quality and content, while the open enrollment classes that allow citizens are so much better? Is it simple competition, where open enrollment classes have to be competitive, while the police-only classes are closed and can be taught by someone on the Brady list that doesn't care?

Has this also been your experience; the actual experts in the firearm field treat others with dignity and respect, never shooting off their mouth? Whenever I see or hear a "know it all", I instantly know that they don't know much at all. Usually, they know the opposite of the truth. The actual experts seem to listen well and speak in polite tones.

Evening Chris and Heather, sorry about the Texas heat, at least you don't have to deal with Wildfires like I do in Utah, whole Salt Lake Valley is full of smoke right now My question is this, last Saturday, I was very irresponsible and bought both a Beretta PX4 Storm and a Beretta 92FS both in 9mm. I heard Chris's Italian accent saying buy 'em. In regards to the Beretta 92, which kind of magazine is the best 92 style to get ie Sand Resistant coating or skip it and get the basic magazine

What are your thoughts on "experts" using clearly marked "reference dimensions" (ref) on prints to reject parts, instead of the actual specifications on the prints? The "experts" do not have the equipment to measure something as simple as a spring, so they just make stuff up out of thin air. I also don't think that the "experts" know what a reference dimension is on a print, but they are so confident of themselves at the same time. They don't know how to inspect parts but don't know what metrology means.

What is a good way to explain the fact that CLP does not "burn off", because it is a "cheap oil"? The military is not dumb, and G96 is an excellent CLP product ...that includes a solvent that is supposed to evaporate away as part of the cleaning part of CLP. I hear so much derp from the police instructors, and they have no idea what CLP is and how it works. Those chemists are smart people, and the other "magic lubes" don't pass MIL-PERF-63460 of any spec. So many instructors speak with authority on topics that they do not understand.

What is your favorite way to induce a realistic "brass over bolt, angled" malfunction for classes? I am not sure if there is a better way. We drilled out the back of the receiver extension and adjustable stock. We insert a spent case over the bolt and run the BCG forward with a live cartridge in the magazine. A mallet is used to smash a rod through the drilled hole receiver extension, so the BCG is forced forward, similar to what would happen in real life. That works well, but many instructors get mad, because their instructions to clear a brass over bolt malfunction do not work. That is why the BCG is seated forward.

Cherrybalmz grease has a great article on their website about grease vs clp on military rifles from the world wars to the present. They mentioned how LSA was great on the M16 in Vietnam and how some old timers still prefer it today. Is the direct impingement to hard on CLP, ND do you believe a grease would be better? Thankz

Evening Chris and Heather, just submitting two questions for tonight. First Question: - Relating back to the earlier years of the ArmaLite AR-10 (during the 1950’s), there was a small number developed by the Dutch company of A.I. (Artillerie-Inrichtingen) that were chambered in 7.62x39; but utilized it’s own proprietary metal magazines. Did you by any chance held one/shot a sample of one, and have they ever been imported to the U.S.? – I've found out about it after reading Joseph Putnam Evans book of “The Armalite AR-10: World's Finest Battle Rifle.” Second Question: - With Canada’s aging military use of the Browning Hi-Power handguns, have the Canadians ever considered looking at the Beretta 92/M9 series of pistols for their Armed Forces? – Even though CZ recently purchased Colt Canada and there’s a possibility of bringing in their own CZ line of pistols. But throughout the decades, it's surprising they haven’t looked at the Beretta or other handguns that's offered to the US Military.

Thanks!

Just have a single, two part question for tonight, in regards to the "VLTOR A5 Buffer System." In regards to the "VLTOR A5 Buffer System," have you tested that system while installed into a "External-Piston" AR rifle; either in a short-stroke or long-stroke tappet piston? – Lastly, does it offer any benefit for external-piston ARs, not just in terms of felt-recoil or general reliability, but can it also provide aid in terms of dealing with bolt-carrier tilt?

Don't have any questions for tonight, just wanted to send some support. Just looking forward to pre-ordering your collective book that you’ve worked on with James Rupley on the newer Vickers Guide AR-15 (Volume 2). - As well as looking towards meeting you and Heather for the upcoming NRA Show later this year.

Have two questions to submit for tonight in regards to ARMS Inc.: Does ARMS Inc. make a QD mount specifically made for the Trijicon ACOG TA648; which is a 6x48 powered optic? – Besides just for the traditional 4x32 fixed powered optic. When Richard Swan finalized design of the Mil-Std. 1913 rail, did Eugene Stoner had any influence or at least some first-hand impressions/insight of the rail system during its development, especially when the rail was first being fielded on main issue military rifles, and then with the eventual upbringing of the M-4 Carbine?

Evening Chris and Heather, my question is related to current events in Ukraine, do you think the turmoil is gonna cause the AK market and ammo to take a massive hit in America and make it impossible to get AKs and ammo in the future? Or is this a Mishaco question?

In the case of the 922r Compliance law, since it regulates how many parts could be imported into the country from a foreign firearm manufacturer. But how does that affect a US firearm manufacturer from sending out their firearms to foreign customers, or exporting to another country instead?
