What aqueous chemicals do you recommend to clean firearm parts, so we can get away from Stoddard? In the factory, foul smells are a deal breaker. Other field service fixtures are used with clamping fixtures and arbor presses.

But would there be any positive benefits of revisiting the original design of the ArmaLite AR-10 that Stoner created, and incorporating it with a modern day .308 rifle of today, such as recoil mitigiation for example.
– On a sidenote, the HK-417 (despite it being overly proprietary) is the only rifle currently, that uses a similiar buffer tube design of the original 50’s AR-10.
