Do you have any thoughts on the Black Hills .223 75 Grain Match HP? I managed to get a few hundred rounds of the 77 grain OTM, but even more of the .223.Thanks!

Does a 110 grain 6.8 bullet and a 110 grain 30 cal bullet take the same amount of time to get down the barrel? In other words, is dwell time impacted by caliber and weight or just weight?

I’m confused by all the Beretta 92 variants available. Which ones do you like?

Your review of the LWRCI DI was truly professional and insightful. I learned so much about the AR-15 platform in general and the LWRCI DI specifically. I must have watched it 10X. Ended up buying one last month and glad I did. Next stop is the LWRCI gas piston A5 big brother which you also did a great review on.

Love all the hard work you both are doing keep it up. Is the SIG P210 American drop safe?

Is it worth buying two suppressors (for 9mm & .45) vs only larger one for use on both? Would it be worth the loss in dB reduction when used with 9mm?

Joey | $5.50

Why do some say 40 S&W does not suppress well? Is there any advantage to suppressing 45 over 40?

Sorry you are not feeling well Heather but maybe a funny story will give you a laugh. I got some G96 solvent and gun treatment yesterday on Chris' recommendation. I thought I remembered you saying G96 smelled nice so I took a huge, "mama's fresh apple pie" whiff of it. Either it's an acquired taste or you were talking about the gun treatment, because the solvent smelled like a mixture of battery acid and death. Besides almost throwing up on the spot, I haven't been able to smell or taste anything since. YOLO. The moral of the story is, make sure to keep G96 solvent out of reach of children and idiots.

Hello from Guam! Unfortunately, superchat is not available in my region so I have to use donorbox instead. I've been wanting a Colt 605 and was curious on your opinion of them and their reliability in regards to the full length gas system with the carbine length barrel? I'm thinking of getting a BRN 605 in particular. Keep up the great content. I'm a big fan of your Crime series in particular

Why is there a 15.50 inch rifle length gas tube for some AR-10 platforms and other AR-10’s use a standard 15.125 inch rifle length gas tube?

Kirk

Greetings from the Wabash Valley! No question(s). Sorry to hear my birthday present got swiped, Replacement from distiller and winery near Monty is on the way. Gun show in Indy last week. Have you (or anyone else) actually seen a catastrophic failure by firing a 5.56 out of a .223 AR-15?

What would be the best online course for gunsmithing besides the Sonoran Desert Institute?...that place seems to get a lot of complaints.

Are Mark Westrom's Tech Notes available anywhere, or are those great sources of information gone forever?

Does buying a bolt and barrel from the same company have any advantages? Or, can any quality components from solid companies be expected to work flawlessly together?

What can be done to help the gunsmithing, armorer, and home gunsmithing industries understand the importance of the proper screw torque (with a torque limiting driver) and the proper use of Henkel anaerobic adhesives? There is sooo much complaining about broken screws or loosened, but there is no understanding that this problem is 99.98% operator error.

Evening Chris and Heather. Was at a gunshop on Saturday looking at Ars, got into a long conversation with the clerk because for whatever reason the standard M4 style carbine doesn't fit me right always feels way too small for me to comfortably use. Something about how the buffer tube and stock doesn't work for me. But the irony is, a Ruger mini 14, no problem. An old school M16 they had to rent, no problem, An Ar10 no problem, the M1A, no problem. It seems I am just that 1 in 10K who works better with a full size rifle. Am I better off going with the rifle that fits me best or Frankenstein an AR15 to work for me?

Is Lehigh Defense coming out with real innovation in their bullet technology or just a bunch of gimmicks?

Happy Birthday - great channel, Heather is awesome. Get a WAB😀 Do you still have a high opinion of the CZ Bren 2 carbine?

Happy upcoming Birthday Chris! Love the work you guys do!

Can you clear up what the car15 was. GAU? Colt Commando? It gets fuzzy. My uncle was 5th group Mike Force (Team B16) in '67-68. Killed Feb 25th (days before his deros).

I’m looking to get a Robinson Armament XCR in 7.62 x 39. Several different barrel lengths, profiles(light and heavy), and twist rates(1/7 or 1/10) are offered. What length, profile and twist would you recommend I get? I would just be taking it to the range occasionally. The rifle wouldn’t have to be combat worthy.

Glock lacks double strike capability; does ammo failure to fire count as MTBF? Any statistics on how reliable single strike ignition is with commercial ammo?
