The Trans Journalists Association exists so that trans and gender-expansive journalists can build careers that last and so that newsrooms cover our communities with accuracy and care. That work isn't getting easier, and we aren't stepping back from it.
In fact, we're digging our heels in!
Since 2020, we've supported thousands of journalists through our coverage guidance and reporting resources. This fall, we're raising $25,000 by December 1 to keep that work going.

- The Trans News Initiative: A database that tracks and analyzes mainstream news coverage of trans communities, built for journalists, media organizations, and researchers.

- Our Stylebook & Coverage Guide: Free best practices for covering trans rights and communities, used by newsrooms and reporters.
