Grants Love Local Support!
We recently applied for a large grant from one of the local foundations that are seeking to help fund childcare efforts. Some of the most frequent feedback we get from foundations and grant writers is that foundation trustees love to know that they're supporting grassroots organizations with strong local support. They've told us that one of the best ways for them to gauge local support is by examining the organization's history of receiving individual financial contributions.
