Whiskers Animal Benevolent League is a 501(c)(3) not‑for‑profit organization registered with the New York State Charities Registration Bureau and Registered Rescue #RR‑304 with the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. EIN: 22‑2487926. Donations are tax‑deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor for details. Contributions to the Building Hope Capital Campaign will be used for the renovation, outfitting, and ongoing operation of Whiskers’ new shelter facility. Funds may be applied to: engineering and architectural services; legal, professional and consulting fees; project management; contractors and labor; building supplies and materials; equipment and furnishings; utilities; security systems; building maintenance and repairs; insurance; permits, inspections, and other governmental fees; taxes; and loan repayment related to the shelter property and improvements. If the fundraising goal is not met or circumstances prevent completion of the renovation as planned, remaining funds will be used to support the care, housing, and well‑being of cats served by Whiskers, including medical care, supplies, and placement efforts, consistent with our charitable mission. No goods or services were provided in exchange for this contribution, unless explicitly stated in your receipt. Donations are non‑refundable. Our most recent financial statements and Form 990 are available upon request as required by New York Executive Law §172‑b and §172‑e.
