DEEP WINTER, WARM SOCKS
While Ukraine has defied analyst predictions that it would quickly fall to the Russian military, Ukraine has been fighting this unprovoked invasion by Russia for two-years now. Winter is one of the most difficult times for frostbite, and among the most requested items are socks. Kerry Secrest, Honorary Consul of Lithuania to Vermont, reached out to Vermont-based Darn Tough socks, and they promptly donated 240 pairs of socks, symbolic of 2/24/24 - the second anniversary of the war, to go to the frontlines. We thank them for helping in a way they uniquely can!

INDIVIDUAL FIRST AID KITS
Our campaign goal is to match Darn Tough and send 240 Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK) to Ukraine’s defenders. Since the massive increase in Russian attacks has exponentially increased the need for critical medical supplies for those who are wounded, we are in need of IFAKs which include tourniquets, compression bandages, hemostatic gauze, chest seals, decompression needles, airway tubes and more to help keep soldiers alive. The cost per IFAK is $50-$100. They are not standard issue gear, and Ukraine’s defenders cannot afford them. Military pay is $200-$400 per month.
