On August 20, our Board of Directors met and finalized the opening phases for the Affordable Animal Care Clinic. We’ll be opening with our community’s immediate needs in mind, beginning with wellness exams, routine checkups, core vaccinations, preventative services, treatment for simple medical problems, and scheduled end-of-life services.
Once Phase 1 is established, we’ll expand into Phase 2, which will include spays and neuters, other surgeries, dental cleanings, diagnostics such as radiographs and blood work, and full, ongoing veterinary care.
With the opening phases now finalized, we’ll soon begin developing our renovation plans, determining the order of work, selecting contractors, and finalizing our fundraising materials. As these plans are finalized, we’ll share them with our community so you can see exactly how your support is helping build the clinic and where your donations are going.
We’re also excited to dedicate our annual Hoedown on October 24 at The Rustic Theatre as a fundraiser for the clinic. If you're reading this, you're invited!!
