The Pryder Cup is an annual two-day tournament (capped at 36 golfers), inspired by the Ryder Cup, held at the end of August (August 24 & 25, 2024 at Airport GC in Columbus) and was created with several objectives in mind:
- Foster togetherness among friends and family
- Ignite friendly competition among participants
- Support charitable causes through fundraising efforts
Each year, the winning team's captain selects a beneficiary for the donations raised. In the past six years, we have proudly supported esteemed organizations including The Flying Horse Farms, SeriousFun Children's Network, Brain Aneurysm Foundation, Pelotonia, The Melina Michelle Edenfield Foundation, The Alexander Family, and The Costantini Family.
Once again, we are heading into the tournament this year knowing we want to raise as much money as we possibly for a cause that is near and dear to all of us but especially a very special person we lost this year.
The WHY...
This year, on February 19th, the creator of the Pryder Cup Tournament and Foundation lost his grandmother Sylvia "Ramblin' Rose" Edwards at the age of 89. Gram (as she was known by everyone family or not) who refused to retire, was currently employed full-time at ISLE (Purple Cat). As Gram worked with the developmentally disabled individuals and those with special needs up until she passed, I couldn't think of no better way to honor her than to help those same amazing people with the funds from this year's outing.

Your generous contribution will directly support individuals with disabilities through Gabba Camp, a four-season retreat meticulously crafted to accommodate a diverse range of needs. From autism to cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, traumatic brain injury, and beyond, Gabba Camp is dedicated to inclusivity, ensuring that everyone, including those in wheelchairs, can revel in the wonders of nature throughout the year. By offering accessible outdoor activities, Gabba Camp champions mental and physical wellness, alleviates stress, nurtures social bonds, and promotes physical activity. Your donation will empower these extraordinary individuals, enabling them to flourish and savor life-enriching adventures amidst the splendor of the great outdoors.
