This year we are doing things a little different. We are heading into the tournament knowing we want to raise as much money as we possibly can for a family that is going through an extremely difficult time. Which allows us the opportunity to raise money through sponsorships, prior to the tournament.
In October of 2021 our good friend Mike Alexander was told he had a cancerous lump on his left kidney, which he had removed the following day. Exactly 3 months later, on January 4th of 2022, he found out the cancer had metastasized to the lung and brain. After five months of radiation, immunotherapy, and the rollercoaster of emotions that entails, he was told the cancer is terminal. On Wednesday, June 1, 2022 our good friend Mike lost his battle with cancer at the age of 44. Our goal is to raise as much money as we possibly can for his wife Gina and two kids Gianna (8) and Mikey (6).
