Hi friends!
On July 14-23, 2023 Living With Power (LWP) will be taking six Division One college athletes on our first young adults mission trip to Lebanon!
The goal is to:
– Lead a summer camp for refugee kids
– Run a sports camp in conjunction with Youth for Christ Lebanon
– Restock our local pharmacy with meds
– Maintain the work in our thriving and growing Women’s Center where we run a prenatal Care Program, Business Education Program, and a Counseling Program
– Introduce the students to what it means to make a difference in the world, no matter the gifts and skill set God has given each person
Lebanon is home to over two million Syrian refugees. Our organization has been doing medical and humanitarian work there for the last 7 years. In the last 3 years our relief work has focused on both Syrian refugees and the Lebanese people. Lebanon is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis since the explosion that rocked the country in 2020, and our vision is to give hope and healing to the hurting.
We need your help to raise $25,000 by July 10!
I believe this experience will fuel the young athletes we are taking on the mission trip with passion for Jesus and help shape their calling!
