Be a Film Producer!


Every day, transgender youth across the United States suffer the devastating consequences of discrimination and stigmatization. Last year alone, 174 anti-trans bills attacked transgender individuals' right to healthcare, education, and the right to simply exist in our communities. These systemic attacks increase rates of anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation in trans youth. In 2022 alone, over 50% of transgender and non-binary youth seriously considered suicide. 


As a gender non-conforming youth myself, I refuse to stay silent while my community suffers injustice. YOU'RE LOVED is a grassroots documentary that tells the stories of transgender youth and how they are being impacted by the current environment.  We will also hear from mental health professionals and allies who are working to protect transgender youth. My hope is that through amplifying their voices and sharing their stories of resilience, this film will inspire greater awareness, and inclusive action, and will give trans kids hope – something they desperately need in times like these.
