The Market @ Integrated Family Community Services (IFCS) provides basic human services and enrichment programs to low-income people, using community resources. Centrally located within areas designated as "food deserts," and within zip code areas of highest need, IFCS serves the greater Denver metro area and entire state of Colorado by fostering self-sufficiency and respecting the dignity of each client. Best known for being the South Metro's primary fresh food market, The Market @ IFCS also nourish lives in a broader sense through financial assistance, school supplies, holiday grocery boxes, and recreation center vouchers. Since 1964, in collaboration with community partners, IFCS has provided an immediate response to hunger, the most basic need for millions of community members.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, IFCS saw nearly 1000% growth in the community’s need for resources. Through the generosity of community partners and individual donors, IFCS pivoted operations to support the increased demand, and expanded assistance to households and unhoused community members with groceries and other basic needs. For 60 years, IFCS has been a beacon of hope and a safety net to support families and children during difficult times by providing food access to those who are hungry or facing food insecurity and other societal issues associated with poverty.
Integrated Family Community Services is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Englewood, Colorado, and has been partnering with the community since 1964.
