Women's Micro-enterprise Project
The women's micro-enterprise project will supply start up funds for a group of women in a remote village in NE Uganda to start a small business that will help supply an income for their family. Initially the project will start with the women growing a crop of Green Grams (Mung Beans) which they can sell locally. Then the project will move to teaching them to make a variety of leather products which they will sell more broadly. The cost of the project is $3000. If we can raise $1500 we have an offer of a $1500 gift match.
