Wickenburg Community Hospital Foundation

About Us
Wickenburg Community Hospital (WCH) is a non-profit organization owned and operated by its citizens. Established in 1926 and like the tenacious Western spirit that built Wickenburg, our rural Community Hospital and Clinics are committed to delivering family-centered care.

The mission of the Wickenburg Community Hospital Foundation (WCH Foundation) is the advancement, administration, and allocation of gifts to support Wickenburg Community Hospital in providing patient-centered health care for Wickenburg and the surrounding rural communities we serve.

How Donations Are Used
Foundation funds are used for projects that improve health care but are not part of the general operating budget of Wickenburg Community Hospital.

Gifts can be used in the following ways:
To purchase patient care equipment
To remodel or upgrade facilities
Invest in state-of-the-art equipment

Fundraising

Recently the WCH Foundation has raised funding for the following projects:
$1.2 million for the renovation and redesign of the hospital’s Level IV Trauma Emergency Department that featured a newly renovated emergency entrance, added triage space, and eight updated patient rooms.

$7 million for the new state-of-the-art surgical center addition that includes two surgical suites with operating rooms, pre-op and post-op space, and affiliated support space to allow the hospital the ability to perform surgeries on site.

$300,000 for a state-of-the-art ASPIRE Cristalle 3D Mammography System with digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT). The intelligent design of ASPIRE Cristalle's patented Comfort Paddle provides noticeably less pain and anxiety for the patient resulting in an improved patient experience.

$600,000 for a self-contained, ADA compliant medical clinic that will be equipped with two examination rooms, ultraviolet disinfection, imaging, a laboratory, basic medications, and satellite connectivity for telehealth visits. This mobile medical clinic will bring quality healthcare to even more people in our 3,300 square mile service area.

WCH and the Pink Ribbon Angels (PRA), a program of the WCH Foundation completed the WCH Breast Center in August of 2015. To date, PRA has funded more than 2,500 mammograms, diagnostic tests, and more than 500 screening appointments.
