My name is Abdallah, and I am writing to you from a worn-out tent in the Gaza Strip, where my family and I now struggle to survive. Every day is a battle against fear, hunger, and uncertainty, but I am holding on to one thing that war has not been able to destroy—hope. The genocidal war on Gaza has changed my life forever. After we were forced to flee our home, we sought safety in a school sheltering displaced families. But even that place became a target.

The school was bombed, and my father was critically injured. Doctors were forced to amputate his entire left hand, leaving him permanently disabled. The man who spent his life working to provide for our family can no longer do so. Watching my father endure such pain has been heartbreaking. Yet even in the darkest moments, he never stopped encouraging me to continue my education. I refused to let war steal my future. Despite displacement, famine, constant fear, and the loss surrounding us, I continued studying.

Through countless hardships, I graduated from secondary school with an outstanding score of 97.4% in the Scientific Stream. Ever since I was a child, I have dreamed of becoming a doctor. It is more than a career—it is my calling. I want to care for the sick, treat the wounded, and bring hope to people living through suffering like my own. It has also always been my father's greatest dream to see me wear a white coat and dedicate my life to saving others.

Today, that dream hangs by a thread. Because of my father's disability and our devastating financial situation, my family can no longer afford my university education. After everything we have survived, I fear I may lose the future I have worked so hard to build. Then I discovered that fundraising sites could offer a lifeline. For the first time in a long time, I believed there might still be a path forward—a chance to continue my education, fulfill my father's dream, and one day give back to humanity through medicine. I am reaching out with hope in my heart.

Would you be willing to help me create a fundraising page so I can continue my educational journey and pursue my dream of becoming a doctor? Your kindness could help turn years of loss into a future filled with healing, purpose, and hope. It would not only give me the opportunity to study medicine—it would honor my father's sacrifice and help ensure that the war does not take away the dream we have both held onto for so many years.
