Wheels4flying is proud to announce…..
That for the first time in history we will be hosting not only an international paragliding meeting but also a World Cup competition for paragliding pilots with reduced mobility. When we say “reduced mobility” this means that all of the participants use wheelchairs and fly their paraglider using a special adapted trike.
WHO:
Paragliding pilots with reduced mobility from all over the world. We already have 12 confirmed participants from Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, USA, France, Italy, Slovenia, and Austria.
WHAT:
A paragliding meeting and friendly competition where the pilot will get to fly with each other and knowledgeable locals to enjoy and improve their flying. The first 6 days of the event is the meeting where participants will fly freely and get to know the area. The last 4 days the pilots have the opportunity to participate in the first ever World Cup cross country competition of this type.
WHERE:
Piedechinche, Colombia where pilots will be able to fully enjoy the friendly skies and stunning landscapes.
WHEN:
January 10th - January 22nd, 2024.
WHY:
These amazing pilots have overcome so much to be able to fly in paragliders. They deserve the chance to meet, fly all over the world, and compete more than anyone.
This amazing event will not be possible without your help. The donations will cover all logistics and transportation for the meeting and competition. Additionally many of these pilots do not have the means to attend on their own, so these donations will also cover flights and accommodation for the pilots that need it.

Que por primera vez en la historia acogeremos no sólo un encuentro internacional de parapente sino también una competición de la Copa del Mundo para pilotos de parapente con movilidad reducida. Cuando decimos “movilidad reducida” queremos decir que todos los participantes utilizan sillas de ruedas y vuelan su parapente utilizando un trike especial adaptado.
QUIENES:
Pilotos de parapente con movilidad reducida de todo el mundo. Ya tenemos 12 participantes confirmados de Colombia, Ecuador, Brasil, Estados Unidos, Francia, Italia, Eslovenia y Austria.
QUÉ:
Un encuentro de parapente y competición amistosa donde los pilotos podrán volar entre ellos y lugareños conocedores para disfrutar y mejorar su vuelo. Los primeros 6 días del evento es el encuentro donde los participantes volarán libremente y conocerán la zona. Los últimos 4 días los pilotos tienen la oportunidad de participar en la primera competición Copa del Mundo de cross-country en este tipo de modalidad.

POR QUÉ:
Estos increíbles pilotos han superado muchas cosas para poder volar en parapentes. Merecen la oportunidad de conocerse, volar por todo el mundo y competir más que nadie.
Este increíble evento no será posible sin tu ayuda. Las donaciones cubrirán toda la logística y el transporte para la reunión y la competencia. Además muchos de estos pilotos no tienen medios para asistir por su cuenta, por lo que estas donaciones también cubrirán vuelos y alojamiento de los pilotos que lo necesiten.

Pour la première fois dans l'histoire nous accueillerons non seulement une rencontre international de parapente mais aussi une compétition de coupe du monde pour les pilotes de parapente à mobilité réduite.
Quand nous parlons de « mobilité réduite », cela signifie que tous les participants utilisent des fauteuils roulants et pilotent leur parapente à l'aide d'un trike spécialement adapté.

Durant les 6 premiers jours de l'événement les participants voleront librement et découvriront la région.
Les 4 derniers jours, ils auront la possibilité de participer à la toute première compétition de cross-country de type Coupe du monde.

POURQUOI:
Ces pilotes extraordinaires ont surmonté tant de choses pour pouvoir voler en parapente. Ils méritent plus que quiconque d’avoir la chance de se rencontrer, de voler partout dans le monde et de concourir.
Cet événement extraordinaire ne sera pas possible sans votre aide. Les dons couvriront toute la logistique et le transport de la rencontre et de la compétition. De plus, nombre de ces pilotes n'ont pas les moyens de financer seuls ce déplacement, ces dons couvriront donc également les trajets et l'hébergement des pilotes qui en ont besoin.

Per la prima volta nella storia organizzeremo non solo un incontro internazionale di parapendio ma anche una gara di Coppa del Mondo per piloti di parapendio con mobilità ridotta. Quando parliamo di “mobilità ridotta” intendiamo che tutti i partecipanti utilizzano sedie a rotelle e volano con il loro parapendio utilizzando uno speciale trike adattato.
CHI :
Piloti di parapendio con mobilità ridotta provenienti da tutto il mondo. Abbiamo già 12 partecipanti confermati provenienti da Colombia, Ecuador, Brasile, Stati Uniti, Francia, Italia, Slovenia e Austria.
COSA:
Un incontro di parapendio e una competizione amichevole in cui i piloti potranno volare tra loro e gente del posto esperta per divertirsi e migliorare il proprio volo. I primi 6 giorni dell'evento sono dedicati al meeting e i partecipanti potranno volare liberamente e conoscere il territorio. Negli ultimi 4 giorni i piloti avranno l'opportunità di partecipare alla prima gara di Coppa del Mondo di parapendio per persone diversamente abili.
DOVE:
Piedechinche, Colombia. Qui i piloti potranno godere appieno di uno dei posti più affascinanti per volare in parapendio.

PERCHÉ:
Questi incredibili piloti hanno superato molte difficoltà per poter volare in parapendio. Meritano l'opportunità di incontrarsi, volare in giro per il mondo e competere più di chiunque altro.
Questo incredibile evento non sarà possibile senza il tuo aiuto. Le donazioni copriranno tutta la logistica e il trasporto per l'incontro e la competizione. Inoltre, dato che molti di questi piloti non sono in grado di sostenere tutti i costi , queste donazioni copriranno anche i voli e l’alloggio per i piloti che ne hanno bisogno.

Wir wenden uns an alle Paragliding-Piloten, andere Piloten, sowie auch an die, die es noch werden wollen. Ebenso sprechen wir auch alle Leute an und Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung, so wie Freunde und Familie aus aller Welt.
Wheels4flying ist sehr stolz euch dies bekannt geben zu können:
Zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte werden wir nicht nur Gastgeber für ein internationales Paragliding-Treffen sein, sondern auch für die erste Weltmeisterschaft für Paragliding-Piloten mit eingeschränkter Mobilität. Alle Teilnehmer sind Rollstuhlfahrer und fliegen mit einem extra für sie angefertigten dreirädrigen „Flug-Rollstuhl“, durch diesen das Paragliding möglich ist.
Wer nimmt teil:
Paragliding-Piloten mit eingeschränkter Mobilität aus aller Welt. Wir haben bereits 12 bestätigte Teilnahmen aus Kolumbien, Ecuador, Brasilien, USA, Frankreich, Italien, Slowenien und Österreich.
Das Projekt:
Das Paragliding-Treffen und der freundschaftliche Wettbewerb ermöglicht den Paragliding-Piloten ein Kennenlernen und sie können sich untereinander austauschen. Jedoch sind auch sachkundige Piloten vor Ort, die den Teilnehmern helfen ihre Flüge zu optimieren. In den ersten 6 Tagen des Events findet das internationale Treffen der Paragliding-Piloten statt. Die Teilnehmer können eigenständig mit den speziellen „Flug-Rollstühlen“ fliegen und lernen somit das Gebiet kennen. In den letzen 4 Tagen haben die Paragliding-Piloten die Möglichkeit an dem ersten weltweiten Wettbewerb dieser Art teilzunehmen.

Piedechinche, Colombia. Dort können die Paragliding-Piloten in vollen Zügen die optimalen Wetterbedingungen und die atemberaubende Landschaft genießen.

Diese tollen Paragliding-Piloten haben so viel überwunden und Herausforderungen gemeistert, um Gleitschirm fliegen zu können.
Sie haben es verdient an dem Treffen teilnehmen zu können, und von überall dorthin zu fliegen, denn sie sind wettbewerbsfähig.
Dieses einzigartige Event wird nur mit deiner Hilfe möglich sein! Deine Spende wird gebraucht, um all die logistischen Herausforderungen und den Transport für das internationale Treffen und den Wettbewerb zu schaffen.
