Wheels for Hope

This giving season, Home Sweet Hope has a very specific need. A need that is long overdue in fulfilling, but very much needed.

Since we started gifting rooms in 2019, we have had to use our personal vehicles or rent a U-Haul to reach children across the state. We have gone as far west as Asheville, and as far east as Wilmington. This has been a very cumbersome task, as we have to be very strategic about fitting items into the vehicle, (pretty sure we could win a Tetris tournament at this point!) or we have had to worry about getting a rented trailer back by the deadline. We originally thought we would try to purchase a transit van, but upon further discussion, we think a pull-along trailer would suite us just fine. We are still a very small non-profit, so we don't want to get in over our heads...baby steps!! We of course, will still need to use my husband's 1995 truck to pull it, but having a trailer of our own will greatly reduce the extra stress that comes with having to pick up and return a rented item.

We have a goal to raise $8000. This will allow us to purchase a trailer, as well as provide branding on the trailer. Please help us reach our goal by donating to this campaign. ANY amount is appreciated! It truly takes a village to do what we do, so please share this fundraiser with your friends and family as well. As always, THANK YOU for helping us create beauty, love, and worthiness in the lives of foster and adopted children across NC.
