Asheville DSA, NC Triangle DSA, and our chapters across NC are collaborating to raise money for people affected by Hurricane Helene in Western NC.

The ugliest face of capitalism is often revealed in the wake of a major disaster, and that's exactly what we're seeing in Western North Carolina. The near-total destruction of housing and infrastructure falls hardest on those with the fewest individual resources -- the poor, the marginalized, and the working class. Our solidarity with all the oppressed people of the world calls on us to help the victims of Hurrican Helene rebuild their lives and homes.

Money raised will go towards purchases of critically needed supplies. We also hope to fund cleanup and rebuilding efforts in the long-term, but we need your support to do so!


Funds may be used for mutual aid and disaster relief efforts by NC Triangle DSA, Asheville DSA, or to assist partner organizations in related efforts in areas affect by Helene, Milton, or other disasters. Donations made to this fund are not tax-deductible.
