[ap]Parent Love is dedicated to providing the unconditional love and support of a parent to those in the LGBTQ+ community who may not receive it from their own families.
To raise awareness and funds for this cause,
co-founder Barbara is hiking solo on the
210-mile John Muir Trail.
However, if there's one thing we've learned,
no one needs to walk
life’s trails alone.
Board Member Nicole and Family Member Mark join Barbara for 3 days this year!
Co-founder Tom is re-supplying Barbara, and they will
complete the journey together, symbolizing the importance of support and companionship.
This journey symbolizes the individual paths
each LGBTQ+ person takes when they come out to their friends, family, and community.
Their packs represent the emotional burden of hiding one’s true identity.
