Imagine if every learner's week started with a window into another world (or 100s of them!) - a carefully-selected VTS image, accessible to explore in the classroom or at home, online or in VR, from anywhere and at any time.
That’s what Watershed wants to make possible for diverse learners of all kinds.
Watershed's mission is to make high-quality VTS PK-12 PD and curriculum as accessible as possible. Expanding the number and diversity of images available - as well as the way in which learners can encounter and explore those images - is key to achieving that mission.
Over the next year, we aim to expand our PK-12 student image curriculum to 52 images per grade level (currently 30 each) and make those images increasingly easier and more effective to access across a range of learning contexts.
To do so takes researching, licensing, hosting, and making flexibly available a library of nearly 750 images from artists - and rights holders - from around the world!
And to do that, takes resources.
