CRAFT welcomes beginning growers to learn first hand from experienced island farmers while connecting with others who share their passion.
The Farmers Market provides fresh island produce, highest quality island-made crafts, and boosts the success of more than 80 island farm and craft businesses.
The Food Access Partnership connects Islanders who experience food insecurity directly with growers – supporting our local farmers and putting locally grown food in the hands of those who need it.
Get Growing helps people find fun and satisfaction in their backyard garden, be it just a few beautiful flowers or an abundant, nourishing mini farm.
The Production Committee supports the increased production of agricultural goods on Vashon-Maury Island. We do this by investing in the resources, skills, and technology necessary to capture the abundance of the harvest and turn it into a year round community larder through the Food Preservation Initiative. We also administer direct Vashon Farmer Grants through the David Pfeiffer Sustainable Agriculture Fund.
