Thank you to Legend and the hundreds of Afghan allies we left behind. My deepest gratitude for all you did in our fight against the Taliban and for all you continue to do even now.
I love and miss the people of Afghanistan. The people were always welcoming and hospitable. I miss playing soccer with the kids and sharing my care packages with them. The memories I have from Afghanistan will always stay with me and not a day goes by that I don’t think about them. I’m sincerely sorry for our ill timed, disgusting, and traitorous withdrawal and in no way does the cowardice act of our politicians represent how the people or veterans feel.
We should never turn a back to an ally. Until every Afghan is free from oppressive terrorist rule.
