The Venus Literary Collective was founded with a simple but ambitious vision: to build an independent publishing collective dedicated to womyn's literature, scholarship, creativity, and intellectual freedom.
We believe that books can preserve history, inspire action, challenge ideas, and connect communities. We also believe that independent publishers play an essential role in ensuring important voices are not lost simply because they don't fit commercial trends.
Building an organization like this takes time, commitment, and resources. That's why we're asking for your help.

What We've Accomplished So Far
We've been working hard behind the scenes to ensure the success of The Venus Literary Project. We want to ensure that the next generation of womyn and girls has access to literature to navigate androcentric and phallocentric socio-political climates, as well as to give them the ability to create discourse and communities around their experiences.
