A devastating earthquake struck Turkey and Syria, leaving thousands displaced or without shelter, food, or medical care. To help alleviate their suffering, the UT Muslim Student Association's 11th annual Fastathon on Monday, April 17 will raise funds for the earthquake victims' most urgent needs.

Fastathon invites non-Muslims to pledge fasting for a day and asks for donations on each faster's behalf. At sunset, all are invited to an Iftar at the Student Union Ballroom to break the fast together. The funds raised will be donated to trusted relief organizations assisting earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria with emergency aid and rebuilding their communities.
