Please support a variety of community events that will assist with the needs of underserved and/or rural communities. MIGC will provide organized forums for underrepresented organizations to get publicity and increase revenue. We want to provide safe spaces for people to feel more comfortable accessing and asking questions about services they may need. These events will have diverse professionals available in their areas of expertise to assist with helping the community and addressing its needs that have been identified via the needs assessment procured by MIGC for the area served at the time. We are assuring we have medical, technology, legal, and insurance professionals to give expert information and advice free of charge to community members. Some events will provide actual non-invasive medical checkups, food and medical supply giveaways, and/or school supplies for students of all ages. These events are to serve marginalized and stigmatized populations.
Your funds will support:
- Event space
- Event staffing
- Food/Beverages
- Marketing/Advertising
- Speakers/Presenters who are not vendors
- Medical staff
- Physical resources (for example, book bags, nonperishable food items, etc.)
