Mama James (Petronila Kangu) is a courageous single mother from Moshi District, Tanzania, whose family has been devastated by Retinoblastoma, a rare childhood eye cancer.
She has already lost one child to this disease, and her two surviving children have all undergone treatment after being diagnosed with Retinoblastoma. The family continues to face significant medical, financial and housing challenges.
Zino Prince Foundation (Zinovate) has launched this campaign to raise $30,000 to help provide ongoing medical support, improve the family's living conditions, create a sustainable source of income, and raise awareness of childhood eye cancer so that more children can receive life-saving diagnosis and treatment.
