Fundraising Campaign Update #2: A Remarkable Milestone Achieved! Fundraiser is closed!

Dear Supporters,


We are thrilled to share some incredible news with you in our second campaign update. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our donors, we have surpassed our initial expectations and reached an astounding total of €117,850.82 gross! This significant achievement wouldn't have been possible without your unwavering support and the dedicated efforts of everyone involved.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who contributed to this cause. Your kindness and generosity are truly inspiring. We are especially grateful to our recurrent donor, François, whose substantial contribution has played a pivotal role in helping us reach this remarkable milestone.

Meeting with Okhmatdyt Hospital Director


In a recent development, we had the privilege of meeting with the Director of Okhmatdyt Hospital in Kyiv. During this meeting, we discussed and decided on the vital medical equipment and resources that will be purchased with the funds raised. This marks a significant step forward in our mission to provide essential support to the biggest children hospital in Ukraine! 



Fundraiser Closure and Future Mission


As we aknowledge this incredible achievement, we want to inform you that this particular fundraiser is now closed. However, our mission to provide support and resources continues unabated. We remain committed to our cause and will keep working towards making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.

Milestone of 10k reached

Dear supporters, 

You are great. Within 24 hours we could raise more than 10.000 euros. Thus we continue with a new milestone of 20.000 euros. 

We are thankful for your engagement and for your private and corporate donations. 

As its was written in the fundraiser beside the financial help that will be sent directly to the hospital, we are preparing 5 hemodialyses generators to be dispatched to the Okhmatdyt hospital if the following weeks. 
The destroyed building was actually used for for hemodyalisys and we are happy we can replace some of the lost generators. 

Moreover we would to emphasize that the new option that we provided to fundraise yourself is working. We have 7 donators who decided to customize the fundraiser on our behalf. Dont forget that you can use this option too.

Here are somehints for our fellow supporters:

1. Make a first donation.
People feel hesitant to be first. That’s why it’s always a good idea to get your fundraising off to a good start by making the first contribution. This will make others more likely to get involved.
2. Tell people why it matters.
The most important thing you can say is why you do it. Let your family and friends know why this cause matters to you – that’s what they care about most!
3. Start with your close contacts
It’s always best to start by contacting your family and close friends because they are the most likely to donate. Try sending some personal messages (SMS, WhatsApp, emails) to your inner circle to build up some momentum.
4. Now move to social media
Once you received your first donations, it’s time to turn to social media. One of the best strategies to use is tagging and thanking people that have already donated when you are asking for new donations. This spreads your message further and lets people know that others are already supporting you.
5. Re-engage with email
Don’t hesitate to send a few follow up emails. Emails are easy to overlook, and people often open them up quickly and then forget to go back to them. Use email to keep people up to date with your progress as you hit different milestones (50% raised, 75% raised, etc.) and ask supporters to help you reach your next milestone.
6. Continue thanking and updating
