The mission of Uniquely Different is “ To foster a holistic foundation that stabilizes the family dynamics through education, career development, self-empowerment and improving social economics.”
In 2017 Uniquely Different’s founder, Rashidah Razzak, established the non-profit in hopes to help others with personal growth. The organization’s principles are focused on a holistic approach to improve overall well-being and self-achievement to reduce poverty, sickness, mental health, and violence. The nonprofit has developed support programs for refugees and immigrants, families, veterans, and senior citizens in the Triad area to assist with housing barriers, job placement, educational planning, and medical and well-being case management services. The organization also supports students in Jamaica through community and educational outreach. The highlight of Uniquely Different is Rubs for Roger, that is an interactive emotional support English Crocker Spaniel male dog community program. Thanks in advance for your support.
